For many of us, the fans, Elvis Presley was an imensely talented singer. The caped, rhinestuded hero or the greasy side burned rebel that captured the heart and mind of millions with his voice and superb showmanship. But for a selected few, Elvis shoned in a different way. For them he was a generous, well-mannered, funny, down to earth kind of guy, complete with all the flaws that makes each one of us unique. One of those luck people who knew this very human side of Elvis was Sandi Miller. Sandi was a fan of Elvis just like every one of us, but over the years she became a personal friend of his, a privilege that very, very few fans can say they had. Sandi not only became his friend but was also a guest at his various homes and was present at some important moments in his career.
