Runaway

Runaway é um dos maiores clássicos dos anos 60. A canção foi originalmente gravada por Del Shannon em 1961 e considerado pela critica o maior sucesso da carreira. Del Shannon que infelizmente veio a cometer suicidio em 1990. Ele nasceu no dia 30 de Dezembro de 1934.

Elvis teve a felicidade de ensaiar e usar na fantástica e histórica temporada em Las Vegas no ano de 1969. O arranjo era diferente com acordes na guitarra elaborados por James Burton que lembrava muito a versão do grupo The Ventures.
Mas infelizmente a canção não seguiu no repertório dos shows ficando somente em 1969, mas temos registros da canção em albuns lançados pela BMG e RCA (na época). Runaway também foi ensaiada durante as filmagens do filme That´s The Way It Is mas permance inédito até hoje. Uma verdadeira pérola.
